505 Games and Limbic Entertainments announced that they will be bringing their multiplayer survival sandbox Memories of Mars to PC via Steam on June 5th. Priced at $29.00, this latest title from 505 Games will be offered with a 10% discount for players. The game will feature rich and massive environment based on the big red planet itself for players to explore. The game will introduce a season mechanic to help keep the game competitive for would be survivors as planet-wide solar flares with bake all life and structures on the planet forcing players to rebuild their life on Mars. Thankfully talents and skills learned through the season can be passed on to a series of clones allowing some of your progress to carry forward.
The developer has stated that they are hoping to create a harsh and unforgiving world for players to explore and survive in. Teamwork will be paramount as gathering and constructing defenses are necessary for long-term survival on the red planet. The game will feature full PVP as well as PVE elements in the form of enemy NPC’s which will also be fighting for resources and their own piece of the red pie.
