If you’re a console player into coop survival games, you’ll be happy to hear that Metal Gear Survive is running an open beta weekend. You can download and play the game from today through January 21st.
During the beta event, you can take part in 4-player cooperative activities across two stages and three missions. You’ll see and play through the Wrecked Base and the Deserted Mine.
For your participation, you’ll earn:
- Fox Hound nameplate
- Metal Gear Rex Head accessory
- Bandana accessory
It’s worth noting that no progress you achieve throughout the beta weekend will be saved. Once the game launches, you’ll have to start from scratch.
Download the XBox One version here and the PlayStation 4 version here. There is no PC version available, though it is set to be released on Steam on February 21st.
