Metal Unit, the sci-fi rogue-lite platformer from Neowiz, is adding a massive content update and plenty of extra challenges for old and new mechs.
Jellysnow Studio and Neowiz have just dropped a whole heap of extra content for their mechanized platformer. Metal unit’s new add ons provide extra equipment, a brand new dungeon, additional skins, and a bunch of collectibles in the game’s newest DLC Available now across PC and Nintendo Switch, these extras all come for free and should add plenty of play time for experienced pilots.
The Ruins
Anybody lucky enough to stumble across The Ruins will experience the latest and greatest challenge in Metal Uit. Encountered randomly as players work their way through Chapter 4 of the main game, this addition to the title isn’t all that developer Jellysnow has crammed in. 10 powerful new equipment items have been added to the in game arsenal, including the Holonade, Phase Boots, and SDA-Hammer to provide even more ways to blow away enemies. In addition to these, you’ll find a bunch of quality of life fixes, new boss cinematics, skins, and more waiting.
If you haven’t picked up Metal Unit yet then this rogue-lite mechanized adventure follows the fate of a soldier on a mission to capture her treasonous sister, using the M-Unit 11 suit. Brimming with powerful weapons and fending off an array of unpredictable enemies, Metal Unit is something of an homage to old school Metroid titles.
