Earlier, which was limited to being a student-led initiative, it now welcomes support from the university itself. Under the growing eSports program, MSU introduced two cutting-edge eSports lounges in 2024.
- Alienware eSports Lounge: This facility in the Communication Arts and Sciences building consists of a console gaming area, a dedicated broadcasting space, and 12 Alienware R16 battle stations.
- Hubbard Hall eSports Lounge: This facility features a competitive space for all students. The station is well equipped with everything a gamer may need and is available for all students regardless of the major. It offers walk-in play hours besides the evening hours reserved for the Varsity eSports team.
Both the lounges are designed to offer high-end gaming equipment to the students thus helping to create a strong campus eSports culture.
