Yesterday’s Mika and the Witch’s Mountain launch puts this magical escape on PC, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms now.
After circling in Early Access, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is now available on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. The adorable adventure made it to full launch last night, bringing the tale of a magic delivery service to audiences, and packing in a launch discount too. Players can check out the trailer, above, and fly over to storefronts to grab 30% off on Steam, 15% off on Nintendo Switch (Europe region), and 15% off for PlayStation Plus users. New content also lands, with the Into the Mont Gaun update coming in the next few weeks, giving old and new players even more to do around the Witch’s Mountain.
Into the Mont Gaun
The final, and free, content patch looks like a fitting addition to Mika’s adventure. the cute carrier will soon be able to explore three Zelda-like dungeons that let you go deep into the depths of the mountain. Prove yourself and unveil the secrets of the elements. This extra addition joins more than 8 extra hours of gameplay that the team have added during 5 months of Early Access.
Pick up the digital release, or wait for the planned physical release, and you’ll find a fantasy adventure about an aspiring witch who delivers packages to the townspeople of a small island. It might not be the only delivery game on the market, but it’s certainly one of the cutest I’ve seen. The cosy indie upstart adds incredible freedom, popping protagonist Mika on her broomstick and flying around the environment. Explore every nook of this title and get to know the locals. Protect packages along the way, collect treasure, and unwind up in the clouds. Clearly taking some inspiration from Ghibli classic Kiki’s Delivery Service, this has a relaxed alure that’s worth a look.
