Good Shepherd Entertainment and indie developer Italo Games have confirmed that they are bringing Milanoir to the Nintendo Switch and unveiled a new gameplay trailer to boot.
Due out in early 2018, Milanoir is a top-down pixel art piece that follows ex-con Piero as he stumbles around a noir-soaked Milan looking for revenge. Drawing clear inspiration from 1970s Italian crime capers, this retro rampage through Europe’s seedy underworld looks like a kitsch homage to films like Caliber 9 and Almost Human.
As if this isn’t enough the game includes an appropriately funky soundtrack, arena mode, local co-op, and probably more than a few cheesy one-liners. If you love the sound of a violent romp across Milan, spilling the 8-bit blood of your enemies then you can find out more at the official website.
