Minecraft players looking for high adventure in unusual places will definitely want to check out the game’s latest update for both the Java and Bedrock editions. In “Way of the Nether”, players will leap through an interdimensional portal, an area considered the “dark side” of the game. This underworld location is packed with lava, marauding mobs, and adventure. Further, it includes brand new crafting materials, new enemies to fight, and stunning new biomes ripe for exploration.
The Nether Update will introduce four new biomes, two new mobs, a new crafting material, and more to the sandbox! Players can find the new Soulsand Valley, Basalt Deltas, Crimson Forest, and Warped Forest biomes, where adventurers may encounter fearsome foes arriving with the update such as Piglins and Hoglins. New creatures called Striders can also be bred and ridden across the Nether’s rivers of lava to explore more of what the Nether has to offer. Netherite is a new crafting material even stronger than diamond! Delve into the Nether’s darkest depths to find Netherite ore and turn yourself into a Netherite-clad juggernaut – though digging straight down is still not recommended.
