MLB The Show 17 devs showed a video recently that is enough to send shivers down your spine. No…really. We mean it when we say that development is an ugly…TERRIFYING…business.
MLB The Show 17 Video & the Nightmares It Will Bring
Honestly, there is no other way to put it than this is probably the ugliest, most horrifying thing you’ll see today. Well, unless you take part in a remake of Friday the 13th or something. The San Diego team took to Twitch a few days ago to “show off” — and we say that with extreme prejudice — a couple of bugs.
Bugs, my foot. More like terrifying monstrosities. Even Community Manager Ramone Russell said it gave him nightmares so consider yourself warned. If you’re brave enough, head to the Twitch stream to check it out.
Luckily, this has already been fixed so no one will be subjected to such cruelty in the future.

Now…pardon me while I book an appointment with my therapist after having my trypophobia reignited.
All That Ugliness Aside, What’s In the Game?
The game features a ton of ways to play:
- Road to the Show – basically the RPG portion of the game. Players make choices in and out of the game that change the way a career progresses
- Retro-Mode – a “sim inspired” game that hearkens back to classic baseball games of the past
The game will be released on March 28th for PlayStation 4.

I see this and I get chills. True nightmare fuel.
