If you’ve been looking for a mobile MOBA, Tencent’s Arena of Valor may be just the ticket. The game had been previously unavailable in Europe, but is now out for both Android and iOS.
Arena of Valor is MOBA at its mobile best
Arena of Valor is a game that aims to deliver a fully-featured MOBA experience in the comfort of your mobile device. Players will find ways to play including 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5. The goal is to deliver a true MOBA experience to players.
Gamers will find a classic field that features three lanes with towers to defeat. In between are monster filled jungles. Each match lasts no longer than 10-minutes so it’s the perfect way to commute to and from work or school. There are 42 heroes to choose from that fall into categories such as tank, assassin, mage, warrior or marksman. According to developers, more will be added over time.
The best part however: Arena of Valor is all about a gamers’ skill. The developers at Tencent aimed to create a MOBA in which the prowess on the battlefield will decide the outcome of a game, instead of the amount of money invested. Thus the majority of available heroes are unlockable via in-game currency, to be earned by playing the game and completing quests.
