Monster Hunter Wilds is finally here with the official launch trailer! Check it out right above to prepare for the release, coming February 28. However, it is not the end as the developers promise future free title updates to follow.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you protect the balance of the ecosystem and hunt monsters in a world with dynamic, ever-changing environments. Use the resources you gain from hunts to craft ever more powerful weapons and armor in your quest to unravel the mysteries of the new lands.
The developers promise the most evolved action and improved immersion as players use every resource at their disposal to track and hunt monsters. There are 14 weapon types to choose from in addition to the new Focus Mode feature. It allows you to carefully aim your attacks or guards. While performed in the Focus Mode, attacks or guards will be directed where the camera is facing.
Attacking the same parts of a monster continuously may create wounds on that body part. Fighting in Focus Mode highlights these parts, and attacking them deals more damage than normal. Focus Strikes are special attacks that deal extra damage to wounds and weak points, also highlighted in the Focus Mode.
