While Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September, PC players will have to wait longer. Capcom has announced that the Iceborne expansion will not be coming to PC (via Steam) until January 2020.

PC players have expressed their discontent with the January 2020 date in the Twitter thread where it was announced. Many grumpily expressed their unhappiness that the PC version won’t arrive with the console version by saying, “Or you know, you could just work on PC and console together and release it when both are ready.” Others complain that it will be impossible to avoid spoilers for four months:
Aside from having to wait a long time just to get the game, PC fans also have to go 4 months trying to avoid spoilers! The mystery of what comes next is a big part of the fun and the MH community will have picked this expansion apart by the time PC players even get it

Iceborne is the first expansion to MHW and will come with the usual plethora of new gear including weapons and armor. In addition, the dev team has promised more robust and difficult gameplay for those players looking for additional challenges as well as tons of new content to explore. Capcom has even hinted that Iceborne will feature nearly as much content as the base game.
