The first details have emerged about an upcoming in-game event for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The event was revealed in a PlayStation 4 system event listing that further announces that the event is free to all players. “Free Title Update #1” will kick off on Wednesday, October 9th and will end on Thursday, October 17th.
A content update is also planned for October 10th that sents players off to hunt a new monster named Rajang. In addition, they will be heading off to a new volcanic region. This content update will be available for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
About the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update
In the first free update for MHW: Iceborne, hunters will be tasked with tangling with the fearsome Rajang in a new special assignment.
Complete the quests given to you by the Admiral to receive a special Rajang Claws pendant.
In addition, there’s more to explore in the Guiding Lands as a new Volcanic region appears. Delve deep into this new region to obtain materials to further customize your weapons and armor!
