Capcom is proud to announce that action RPG Monster Hunter: World shipped over 20 million units globally, including the sales of MHW: Iceborne Master Edition. The game was initially released on PS4 and Xbox One in August 2018 and made its way to PC via Steam in January 2018.

Just two weeks ago the company also revealed that Resident Evil 7 biohazard sold over 10 million copies as well.

Monster Hunter: World is an open-world action RPG game developed and published by Capcom for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is the fifth installment in the Monster Hunter franchise. The game has much larger maps, seamless transitions between locations and offers a four-player co-op mode. The players take on the roles of Hunters, whose missions are to hunt down and either kill or capture large monsters for study.
