Gameloft and Disney have announced that Monsters Inc. is coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley as part of “The Laugh Floor” update. Plans are in motion to launch the next major content expansion on Wednesday, February 28th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The Laugh Floor is sure to tickle the funny bone of any player familiar with its epic film inspiration. The Dream Castle now has a brand new door that opens to the Laugh Floor Realm and introduces some of Disney’s and Pixar’s most iconic characters. Players will meet Mike Wazowski and Sulley in new quest lines and have the opportunity to unlock a wide variety of customization options themed around Monsters Inc. There are also new items in the Premium Shop and a brand new Star Path to work through.
Unpacking The Laugh Floor
- Work with Mike and Sulley in a new quest line to make kids laugh
- Unlock new avatar customization features, including skin tone options in lots of colors and textures.
- Players tap into their “monstrous” sides by creating Sulley- or Mike-inspired avatars by repping all blue or all green or mix things up for something unique.
- Cosmetic options include contact lenses, unique ear styles, and more face paint options.
- The Star Path offers Monstropolis-themed items, romantic/retro decorations, and other movie-inspired Dream Styles for Mike and Sulley.
- The Premium Shop includes the Snuggly Duckling Tavern House Style, a Boo Onesie, a sushi counter featuring Chef, and more.
- Other feature improvements and enhancements alongside bug fixes.
