More Mass Effect Legendary Edition Info Might be Coming This Week

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Officially Announced on N7 Day 2020

Mass Effect Legendary Edition aka Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster has been officially confirmed during the N7 Day 2020. Since then we have not heard anything about the upcoming remaster besides the rumors that it might be launching on March 12.

This kind of silence made long-time fans of the series tense up, worried for the fate of the beloved franchise. But it seems the wait is coming to an end.

According to the industry insider Shinobi602 who has taken part in the discussion on ResetEra last week, fans “can survive one more weekend”. This was not his only message on the board. Check out the Reddit thread below to find out more!

Liana Ruppert, a journalist from GameInformer, has also taken to Twitter to urge the readers to keep an eye on GameInformer on Tuesday. Coincidence? I think not!

Come back tomorrow and stay tuned to find out more!

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will include single-player base content and DLC from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, plus promo weapons, armors, and packs – all remastered and optimized for 4k Ultra HD. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with forward compatibility and targeted enhancements on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Our goal was not to remake or reimagine the original games, but to modernize the experience so that fans and new players can experience the original work in its best possible form. It’s been amazing to see the adventures of Commander Shepard take on new life in super-sharp resolution, faster framerates, and beautiful visual enhancements. As game developers, we always hope that our games will transcend their original platforms. Having the opportunity to remaster the trilogy means that the fruits of a decade of our work will live on, and will be experienced better and clearer than ever before.

Following the reveal of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the team at Bioware pulled an unexpected move and revealed The Next Mass Effect during TGA 2020. There is currently very little known about the project. Stay tuned to find out more!
