Players in Gielinor will need to sharpen their wits and prepare to a huge encounter as the Vorkath: Battle of Forinthry arrives today.
The latest update to Jagex’s own MMORPG, and the most recent entry in the Nercomancy Season, Battle of Forinthry is a chance to fight alongside iconic faces and overcome the odds to save the day. There might also be some decent loot in it too. Pi king up the quest to protect Fort Forinthry, heroes and the rest of you miscreants will take to the battlefield to take on the newly arisen Vorkath and his master Zemouregal. The multi-phase boss encounter is available now and can be taken on solo or as part of a group. Brining friend along might be a core component of an MMORPG, but it won’t make things any easier. Jagex’s latest promises scaling difficulty and rewards on offer. This includes the coveted new Elite Dracolich gear completed with powerful infusions, for anybody willing to go in for the kill. Players will also be able to unlock the Vorkath Death Guard and Lantern cosmetics overrides by completing tasks for the draconic professor Mr Mordaut during the Vorkath Hunt event.
This isn’t the only time we’ve been to Fort Forinthry of late. The long standing MMO kicked off a series of tales around the New Foundations questline, back in February. Since then, we’ve had a whole series of escapades, including a pint and click mystery. Now, it’s about to get even more action.
