HoYoverse just released a new Zenless Zone Zero music video featuring Qingyi.
A new music video just dropped across Zenless Zone Zero socials, and it’s nothing like we expected! The newest title form mobile behemoth HoYoverse is nothing if not bombastic, so we were prepared for big beats and an assault on the ears, but the new Qingyi featurette is a tad more melodic.
The new music video follows on from the recent release of a chilled-out track featuring Zhu Yuan, so it seems logical that another member of the Public Security faction should get to press a single. Called “Crimson Pierces the Twilight,” the release comes in at just under three minutes and shows Qingyi torn between different realities, but almost always in combat. The audio leans away from western influences and modern ideas. Insterad this draws on more traditional Chinese and operatic concepts. The visuals use similar traditional themes, but there’s a sense that the reserved character we’ve already seen is simply looking for a place to belong.
Qingyi is the second member of the New Eridu Public Security to feature in HoYo’s latest. Her arrival I on the ground is imminent, and players should be prepared to pull for this character. If you aren’t sure whether you want to start filling out the local law enforcement and levelling up yet another operative, then check out the character previews before spending your pulls. There’s always the opportunity to throw cash at Caesar & Burnice further in the future.
