MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Shoots In With A New Trailer

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, melds the irreverent style of 1930s animation with FPS action in a brand new teaser trailer that’s got our attention.

If you’re looking for something to watch between now and Gamescom Opening Night Live then check out the new trailer for silly noir shooter MOUSE: P.I. For Hire. The upcoming mash up of Cuphead sensibilities with a monochrome FPS makes for an unexpected sight that grabbed up by the eyeballs when we first heard about it. Now, Playside Studios, in partnership with Fumi Games is giving us another look at what to expect, and more of the unique weapons that you’ll use to clean up the seedy back alleys of this adventure.

There’s a mouse in this house and you’d better come out with your hands up. If not, then expect to see more of the Mauser, a classic, multishot pistol and P.I. Pepper’s trusty right hand to The Turpentine Gun, a handy tool to erase enemies from their existence. Each of these can be used to tackle the rodent problem that is plaguing the city streets of this retro tail.

The new trailer isn’t all about shot first and ask questions later. It also dives into the darker side of Mouseburg’s seedy underbelly and shares an early preview of just some of the hand-crafted biomes players can explore at launch next year.  For now, just stay on the right side of the law and Wishlist MOUSE: P.I. For Hire on Steam before it cracks down on PC crims.
