Mutant Year Zero Expansion Delayed to July 30th

MUTANT YEAR ZERO

Funcom has announced that the first expansion to Mutant Year Zero is being delayed slightly. It was originally supposed to be released on June 25th but has been delayed until July 30th.

The expansion is called “Seed of Evil” and players will find a new menace that threatens everyone. It appears to be taking “control over the minds of friends and foes alike”.

Fortunately, a new hero has arrived, and players can now add Big Khan the moose to their squad of mutants. He is not only skilled at landing critical hits but comes with the unique mutations Ground Pound and Flame Puke, giving the option to apply a more diverse playstyle in order to succeed.

The expansion’s arrival also marks the retail release of the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. These versions of the game will come complete with the expansion content included.

Existing PC players on Steam can preorder the expansion for $15. New players can take advantage of a Digital Deluxe version that features the base game and the expansion.

About Mutant Year Zero

The humans are all gone. Scavenging through the remains of civilization are the Mutants, deformed humanoids and animals alike, searching for salvation or just something to eat. To survive, you and your companions must venture out to explore the Zone.

Maybe one day you will find the Eden of legends, the ancients’ haven in the middle of hell. That’s where truth awaits, the stories say. Maybe you will find your answers there.

Then again, maybe it’s all bullshit.
