My Talking Angela 2 just picked up two awards over the recent Green game Jam, and dropped a cool $60,000 donation to charity too.
Outfit7, the team behind My talking Angela 2, just picked up a couple of shiny new awards as part of the Green game Jam. The Industry’s Choice Award and the Most Adoptable Award are now winging their way to the offices of this mobile developer, in recognition of the environmental activism during a recent green game update. As part of the cross title initiative, Green game Jam focused on educating and engaging audiences about nature. My Talking Angela 2 opened up access to Angela’s Un-BEE-lievable balcony garden over the recent event. Players could grow flowers, attract bees, and learn about their part in keeping the Amazon alive.
“We’re thrilled to have been recognized for our commitment at this year’s Green Game Jam Awards,” said Xinyu Qian, CEO of Outfit7. “At Outfit7, we believe that it’s our responsibility to take action to protect the planet and use the power of our brand, and our Talking Tom & Friends characters, to raise awareness around these important topics.”
Further enhancing its credentials, Outfit7 also followed through on a commitment to donate $60,000 to Re:wild, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of wildlife.
While the Green game Jam is over, there’s still plenty to do in My Talking Angela 2. This pet sim for all ages impressed us when we took a look on launch. Whether you want to just chill with Angela or encourage younger fans to take up their musical talents, My Talking Angela is available for free on iOS and Android now.
