Pathea Games has just announced a new life management sim My Time at Evershine and an incoming Kickstarter campaign.
The team behind My Time at Sandrock and My Time at Portia just revealed there’s going to be another in this cozy series of life management adventures. My Time at Evershine is a follow-up to these earlier titles that is set to bring a whole lot more to the experience.
My Time At Evershine brings an all new art style, single-player campaign, city management gameplay, multiplayer co-op, and more with it. Alongside a brand new story, the RPG elements of this tale include a diverse cast of romanceable characters, 40+ hour narrative brimming with exploration, and a new role for the player character.
Unlike other Pathea games, players won’t be the foundation of this town, building it from the ground up. Instead, you’ll sit a little further up the hierarchy. As the governor of a fledgling society, you’ll plan and pick the focus of the town. Start from a simple campfire and direct the citizens to make it a thriving homestead for happy people. As a founder of this frontier town, you’ll set up home on the fringes of the Free Cities, facing the almighty Duvos Empire. Recruit settlers, build infrastructure, and tame the wild solo, or along with another three friends. Once you’re all set, spend some downtime recruiting followers, romance the townspeople, and relax in the city you’ve built.
Players eager to try out this new take on the My Time series can buy in early. A new Kickstarter is coming on 24 September. The Kickstarter is expected to make this the biggest, fanciest in the franchise.
“My Time at Sandrock cost a lot, like $12-million-a-lot, and still counting, we expect Evershine’s budget to be somewhere in the ballpark as well,” explained Zifei Wu, Creative Director of the My Time series.
“Having extra funding at this early stage of development allows us to plan for bigger and better features, and allows the community to give us direct feedback while we’re still deciding key elements of the game’s design and execution”
Pathea is committed to launching My Time At Evershine on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and future Nintendo platforms yet to be announced. There is lots more to be revealed about this ambitious sequel. You can find out more about what’s coming on the official website or Kickstarter campaign.
