Myth Of Empires Invades Early Access Next Week

Myth of Empires invades Early Access next week as the multiplayer sandbox strategy hits Pc via Steam on 18 November.

Coming to take over your PC via Steam Early Access, Angela Games’ new multiplayer strategy title is available to try out on 18 November. The upcoming battle sandbox will drop players into an ancient Eastern continent, crafted to provide realistic geography, landforms, flora, and fauna combined with a rich cultural backdrop. Did we also mention huge battles that will roll across your desktop as Myth of Empires deploys?

Players picking up Myth of Empires via Early Access will find a beautifully handcrafted world, full of historical-inspired backdrops and plenty of danger. These gorgeous eastern landscapes and hyper real graphics are just the backdrops to a huge upcoming set of battles, however. Players picking up a sword will find themselves facing off against a set of PvP and PvE servers filled with bandits, wild animals, and hostile players. To keep themselves alive, they will need to recruit NPCs through peaceful means or by force and have them collect resources, craft items, hunt, or march into battle. To get an idea of what all that is like, we’ve included the recent Closed Beta trailer to prepare any of you new recruits.

Plenty of weapons will be at hand as players attempt to conquer and unite a disparate set of territories. Swords, spears, halberds, axes, throwing weapons, crossbows, bows, shields, and more are on offer, while it looks like everything from horses to elephants will help you traverse the snowy mountains right through to the calm green plains. This hyper realistic multiplayer combat sim looks to take plenty of inspiration from titles like Conqueror’s Blade while cranking up the graphics with Raytracing, DLSS, and other trickery to make this a delight to watch. If you’re looking for a bit of battle without the myth and magic, then check out the official Myth of Empires Steam Store page for more now.
