Nemesis System Previewed for Middle Earth: Shadow of War

One of the most interesting features in Middle Earth: Shadow of War is the Nemesis System. It has been completely re-done for the new game and IGN editors got a firsthand look at it.

Nemesis System 2.0

During the game, the player runs into enemies that are randomly assigned each play through. These special enemies possess unique visuals, names and much more as well as reacting to the hero in a variety of ways. Some of them fight while others want to run away and hide. There are a ton of other factors affecting each Nemesis too including location in the world, strengths and weakness, etc.

The video provides basic information about the system as well as how it’s been changed.  It doesn’t contain a ton of new facts, but it’s a great place to start for those looking forward to Shadow of War.

Shadow of War is due for release on August 22nd for PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One.
