Developer Pocketpair announced a 2D Metroidvania x Roguelite action-filled fusion Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse. The title supports up to 4-player multiplayer. To celebrate the occasion and to introduce players to the game, the devs also rolled out a special trailer you can find above.
Fight with magic, use terrain to use advantage and advance forward using a cursed hat. You can even possess your enemies and use their unique abilities to open up new possibilities! Dungeons such as ruins and botanical gardens are auto-generated and change each time you play. Use collected materials to clear the rubble of ruined villages, build new facilities and cultivate crops in the fields. Produce food and potions in the village to prepare for the next battle!
Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse will be coming to Steam Early Access that will last for at least six months. During this period, the complex Metroidvania / Roguelite / Possession System / Base Building / Multiplayer elements will be improved in quality from both a technical and design perspective.
