Note: There are spoilers ahead so if you haven’t completed the latest game update Dragonbone Vale be careful!

After the story of Dragonbone Vale, the Shield of the North sent Valindra Shadowmantle away from the Sword Coast. It was not before an imperfect version of the Scaleblight Mythal was cast however. With this casting a multitude of dragons were awakened but they were not normal, they were turned to a wild rage and hate. This is where you come in to try and hunt the dragons to save the coast.

“As a fan of Dungeons & Dragons for over 25 years, it’s an absolute honor to announce our upcoming module, Neverwinter: Dragonslayer, during the first-ever D&D Direct,” said Brett Norton, executive producer for Neverwinter. “The module was built for fans of D&D’s dragons, including those who loved all the new dragon adventure possibilities that Fizban’s introduced. We’re excited for all D&D players, both new and old, to tackle the challenges of becoming a dragonslayer in our upcoming update!”

There will be a new Dragon Hunt system added during this update. It allows you to become a dragonslayer to counter the dragons in their lair. There will be a few different types of dragons for you to fight and more details will be given towards the launch of Dragonslayer.
