The Nintendo team has raised the curtain on an all-new trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime! The video showcases some of the many adventures everyone’s favorite Nintendo princess will set off on. Whether swinging a lasso as Cowgirl Peach or tearing through opponents as Ninja Peach, this girl is out for serious fun. Using the power of Sparkle, Peach has to take to the stage of each show to “transform and confront Grape’s evil acting troupe.” No matter what role she delves into, Peach will have a dramatic entrance and all the abilities she needs to take back the play.
Players may find Peach in other roles, including swordfighter, detective, kung fu master, a patisserie, and many others. Peach will need panache and more to bring the play to its final triumphant curtain.
As Ninja Peach, she will call upon her sneaking abilities as she uses shadows, shrubbery and makeshift bamboo snorkels to surprise and thwart her enemies. On levels where you need to be a little more brash, Cowgirl Peach yee-haws into action. Her horseback-riding expertise is matched only by her deftness with a lasso, and you’ll need both to make sure Peach rides off into the sunset …or at least into the next scene.
To coincide with the game’s release, Nintendo will also be debuting a set of pastel pink Joy-Con controllers for $79.99. They can be purchased at local or online retailers, including My Nintendo Store.
