New Roccat Kova Mouse Has A Great AIMO

Rocatt Kova AIMO

Roccat, one of the peripheral industries more innovative manufacturers has announced an update to one of their mouse. The German Manufacturer has unveiled the Roccat Kova AIMO.

The very first iterations of the Roccat Kova burst out of the Roccat factories back in 2015 when we got a first look at this rather unique addition to the German Manufacturer’s lineup. This ambidextrous mouse dispatches the lopsided ergonomics of rivals like the Swiftpoint Z, in favor of a more linear precision. Featuring up to 7000dpi using Override Mode, a Pro Optic R6 sensor, 1ms response time, and 512Kb of onboard memory the original Kova was no slouch.

The Roccat Kova AIMO should bring the same precision and flexibility as the original Kova variant with some obvious additions. Over 20 programmable buttons now decorate the Roccat Kova AIMO and the intuitive new RGB control system provides over 16.8 possible color combinations. Otherwise, the specs will look somewhat familiar to Roccat fans.

  • Pro-Optic Sensor R6
  • Up to 7,000dpi
  • 1,000Hz polling rate
  • 20G acceleration
  • 12-bit data channel
  • 50MHz Turbo Core V2 32-bit Arm based MCU
  • 512kB onboard memory
  • 1.8m braided USB cab
  • 12-bit data channel

The Roccat Kova AIMO quite obviously slots the Kova’s symmetrical design into the AIMO Ecosystem. It joins PC peripherals like the Horde keyboard, Khan headset, and Kone mouse as Roccat looks to lead the RGB brigade in a new direction. Roccat describes their AIMO system as an intelligent lighting system that learns, changes, and enhances the gaming experience as more AIMO products are added to a setup. While more functional types like me might not pay much heed to anything off screen, the Roccat Kova AIMO looks like a great entry into Roccat’s Aimo environment for gamers on all sides. As we find out more about this new announcement we will keep you updated.
