After a DATE launch, Amazon just dropped some new Secret Level episodes to add to your animated videogame adventure.
Prepare to snuggle up on the sofa, become the Traveler or rule tie arena as Amazon’s Secret Level drops a new set of video game episodes today. The animated series that draws on popular video games, drops a second set of episodes today and introduces some new titles that you’ll want to see. The second set of episodes follow up on the initial launch earlier in December 2024, and includes the likes of Exodus, Honor of Kings, The Outer Worlds, and more. 7 additional animated shorts join the roster today, giving us a glimpse of some exciting worlds and probably some very surreal ideas. If you’ve seen the PacMan outing, then you know where we’re going with that.
New Episodes
- The Outer Worlds: The Company We Keep
- Mega Man: Start
- Exodus: Odyssey
- Spelunky: Tally
- Concord: Tale of the Implacable
- Honor of Kings: The Way of All Things

Exodus Excitement
I’m probably most intrigued by the upcoming Exodus short. While this episode clocks in at the usual 10-15 minute mark, it gives us a look ahead to a universe we’ve yet to explore. Exodus is an upcoming sci-fi RPG of a seemingly epic scale that is still under development. Set in a future where humanity has abandoned Earth, some of its wayward souls choose to explore the void, looking for technology and ancient secrets to help their worlds. Acting as an introduction to the Traveller, you’ll be able to watch a mechanic traverse the galactic frontier, racing against time in search of his runaway daughter.
This narrative teaser also drops on the same day you’ll get to see the first gameplay trailer for Exodus. So keep an eye out for that as soon as it arrives.
Honor of Kings
Today, we see the release of the Honor of Kings episode of Secret Level, the animated anthology from Prime Video. Written by JT Petty and based on the short story by S.L. Huang, “The Way Of All Things” introduces an all-new character – Yi Xing – to the Honor of Kings universe and tells of his journey from learning the highly strategic game of Weiqi (known as Go outside China), as a child, to his mastery of the game and how he must use his skills to win the most important match of his life and save the city of Chang’an.
The introduction of an entirely new character to this huge MOBA is something special for an animated short. You can find out more about the new arrival on the official website too.
I’m about to dive in, and while the eclectic season of short stories hasn’t quite been up to par with the stunning Arcane, it’s been an interesting take on the anthology approach to animation that we saw through Love, Death & Robots. You can check out the new Secret Level episodes or binge them all across compatible devices, via the Amazon Video Prime website today.
