Amazon and NCSoft have announced that the spear will be the latest Throne & Liberty weapon to land in Solisium.
Right, let me get to the point! The Spear is coming to Throne & Liberty. Players looking to cut down their foes in an epic siege without getting close enough for a dagger to slip between their ribs can utilize the unique capabilities of this newly announced weapon. Due to arrive on 5 December, the Spear is along polearm with a bladed end that specializes in exploiting enemy weaknesses for faster eliminations, and solid crowd control. Rather than focus on dealing excessive damage, debuffing, or defending allies, this weapon combines a range of active abilities chain together to provide good manoeuvrability and increasing damage to targets, alongside solid crowd control. The new option also adds a bunch of passive benefits that help bolster offensive options, allowing players to steadily subdue enemies and then crush them.

Active Abilities
Flash Barrier
Dodge ranged and magic projectiles and then deal damage on targets within range.
Brand Javelin
The Brand Javelin is a directional ability that can be charged to travel farther distances.Enemies hit will be Branded for 9 seconds, increasing the rate of critical hits and critical damage received.
Cut Wings
Stab foes and attack twice:
Each attack inflicts Weaken and will deal additional damage on targets with 5 Weaken stacks. Each stack decreases the target’s Magic, Melee, and Ranged Magic Defense.
Ability to use Spiral Slash afterwards. Spin and attack the target, plus any additional targets within range 2 times. This attack also inflicts Weaken and will deal additional damage on targets with 5 Weaken stacks.
Gale Rush
Quickly dash to your target.
If the target is an enemy, you will deal damage and gain increased attack speed. If they are stunned, sleeping, feared, or bleeding prior to the attack, this attack’s cooldown will reset.
If the target is an ally, you will swing your Spear in a small circle around their position. Any enemies caught in the attack will be briefly stunned.
Smash Blade
Render your enemy unable to use their Defensive Skill for a period of time.
The Spear is the first new weapon to join the fight since Throne & Liberty launched in October 2024. Getting to grips with the eighth weapon won’t be particularly difficult for players. Weapons in Throne & Liberty can be swapped in and out at any time. However, you’ll likely need to reoptimize your build and stats to make use of this powerful new option.
