During the recently-held THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, Titan Quest 2 developers Grimlore Games unleashed a brand new gameplay trailer sure to make ARPG fans breathless with anticipation. In it, viewers are treated to a much darker ancient world inspired by Greek mythology than was seen in the original game. The trailer marks the first time that fans have seen the game in action after its surprise announcement in 2023.
The trailer offers future players a peek at a wide array of environments clearly inspired by Ancient Greece. It features a top-down isometric view as the player character wanders through towns and battles against mythological beasts. Savvy viewers will also see a fleeting look at the skill system, which seems to have ability enhancements similar to those seen in Blizzard’s Diablo 3. Also on view are a dizzying array of armor types and looks so players can build the perfect look for their budding hero.
Sadly, there is no release date announcement, but eager fans can hope that it will come sooner than later. TQ2 is expected to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Steam fans can wishlist the game immediately.
