New World: Aeternum Ushers in the Winter Convergence Festival

It’s party time in Amazon‘s New World: Aeternum, thanks to the arrival of the Winter Convergence Festival. The world has been turned into a winter wonderland where players can take part in specially-themed quests to earn unique items and embrace the spirit of giving.

Winter Convergence Activities

  • Rally a party of up to 20 other players to defeat the mighty Winter Warrior, a challenging boss who roams the snowy landscape to receive event-exclusive rewards.
  • Look for gift piles scattered across settlements and Winter Villages to collect free season awards. Those who feel more adventurous can seek out Gift Sacks or Lost Presents hidden in the wild for additional surprises!
  • Exchange Winter Tokens at Holiday Huts in Winter Villages to receive Lost Presents, Gleamite or Warrior’s Hailspikes. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the skies for a chance to see dazzling Gleamite Meteors! Those who harvest their shards can use them to craft special items or trade them for Winter Tokens.

Each main hub is beautifully decked out with a Tree of Light, beneath which lie presents. Players can interact with three Trees of Light per day and collect four presents per player. These can contain gypsum and holiday food.

As adventures continue throughout the world, players can also find Gift Sacks that offer three presents for the first one found. Only one can be looted per day and will contain random holiday food.

Players are also challenged to pick up lost presents that can be exchanged for Winter Tokens used to purchase items from the themed shop.

Gleamite Meteors are also falling throughout the world. Once mined, the special ore harvested from them can be used to craft special items or traded for Winter Tokens.

It’s a great time to jump into New World: Aeternum. Get crackin’ by visiting the official site for further details.
