New World Players Better Watch Out as Rabbits’ Revenge Hops Into Game

New World Rabbit's Revenge

Amazon Game Studios has posted a brief blog on the New World official site to lay out some of the details of the first-annual Rabbits’ Revenge Easter event for 2022. The event kicked off earlier this week and will run through April 25th in the MMORPG. After literally millions of the cute little critters have been slain in NW to help players complete quests, it’s time for a little payback. Never underestimate a furry.

A chill ran down the adventurer’s spine when he saw the two glowing red eyes. Emerging from the brush, a corrupted rabbit moved into the open meadow where the Adventurer stood rooted. Pale moonlight illuminated its warped figure. The spring air in Aeternum was still crisp, and his now rapidly puffing breath left little clouds floating up toward the moon. Despite the slight chill in the air his fingers slipped across the leather binding, sweat loosening his grip on the sword. He gathered his breath and shouted. “Go back to your corrupted warren, foul beast!” Undaunted, the rabbit leapt. Scarlet droplets sprinkled the grass and an eerie silence settled over the glade.

These corrupted rabbits will be dropping special loot that can assist players in earning up to three Diamond Gypsum per day and up to 5 luck-increasing consumables. According to the post, these luck items may help players find a “mystical storage chest” that may be found amongst the critters. There are even some new open world experiences that help in the hunt for treasure.
