New Xbox items arrive in Red Dead Online

Red Dead Online

This week is another packed update for Red Dead Online. Players will find a number of activities to participate in as well as tons of new items and other goodies to head out and collect.

Xbox One players will see “a slew of items” added. This includes a new type of Camp Dog, new Ability Cards, and the “Shoot the Sky” emote. XB1 players will also see some sweet new additions to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue.

With the Legendary Bounty system in full swing, this week brings a new ultra baddie to chase down for licensed hunters. Cecil C. Tucker is this week’s target, a 20-year-old with a penchant for arson and murder. He is wanted dead or alive with bounty hunters taking home some loot for their effort.

Players participating in Frontier Pursuits will be able to earn some role-specific rewards this week. Bounty Hunters will receive 5x Tracking Arrows. Traders will take home 5X Portent Predator Bait and 5X Potent Herbivore Bait. Collectors, meanwhile, will bank Three Collectible Coins. All three can also earn the Folwell Hat by completing the 3-day Role Daily Challenge streak.

Several events are on the table for those who love competition. The Free Aim Series of the week is Last Stand. It’s a free-for-all battle where the last cowpoke standing takes home the bacon. “Sharpshooters can also try their hand at Free Aim variants of the Shootout, Takeover, and Elimination Series through October 21st.”

There are also several weekly bonuses and benefits:

  • 25% off all Novice Role Items
  • connecting Twitch Prime with a Social Club account provides players with several nifty rewards
  • participants in The Outlaw Pass need to keep an eye on the calendar to finish all 70 Ranks by November 18th to unlock all items
