Nexon has announced that DNF Duel, the new title based on the Dungeon&Fighter franchise, will be launching worldwide on June 28, 2022. The global release includes markets in North America, Europe, Japan, and Korea with the game being available for PC via Steam and for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The announcement was made during the Japan Fighting Game Roundtable held last weekend. To celebrate the news, Nexon released an all-new trailer that also featured the announcement that DNFD is part of the ARCREVO World Tour. Dungeon Fighter Online fans will be pleased to see Mechanic make an appearance in the video as well.
Playable characters coming to the 2.5D multiplayer dueling arena game include Nexon favorites from the IP including:
- Mechanic
- Berserker
- Crusader
- Dragon Knight
- Ghostblade
- Grappler
- Hitman
- Inquisitor
- Kunoichi
- Ranger
- Stalker
- Vanguard
The game is based on the insanely popular Dungeon Fighter Online that originally was released in 2005 but has continued to enjoy huge success around the world ever since. Nexon is working with Neople and Eighting to create the game that will be a surefire hit with fighting game fans who also appreciate an anime aesthetic.
