Ni No Kuni II Faces Another Delay

Back in June 2017, Bandai Namco revealed the inaugural release date for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the sequel to the enchanting Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Unfortunately, it looks like King Evan’s subjects will now have to wait until 23 March, 2018 for his return.

No Rushing This King

This isn’t the first delay that Ni No Kuni II has seen. Bandai Namco moved the release date for this barely a month after announcing it to the public. With a further change, could this signal trouble for fans of the first installment? Akihiro Hino, president of development studio Level-5, confirmed this is nothing to worry about. While announcing the delay, he described the new release date as an opportunity to ensure Revenant Kingdom meets the highest quality standards and allow Level-5 to integrate some brand new game modes.

with innovation and new ideas come the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive package. This means we’ll need a bit more time to make sure the entire Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM experience meets LEVEL-5 and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.’s high quality standards.

After getting hands-on time with the latest Ni No Kuni , I’ve seen an incredible game from a team with huge ambitions. In this case, it looks like both Bandai Namco and Level-5 will crown a king when it’s ready. You can find out more information on the official website as it is released.
