Ni no Kuni 1 Will Not Be Coming to PC After All

After a bit of confusion earlier today, Bandai Namco confirmed that Ni no Kuni 1 is not coming to PC. The rumor began after it appeared the company hinted a PC port. However, after PCGamesN reached out for clarification, fans found out otherwise.

“Sorry we read NNK2, the first one stays on PS3. Sorry for that.:(” read a Twitter post from Bandai Namco.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom though…

While heartbroken that NNK1 won’t be ported to PC, at least fans know that Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will be arriving this year. In fact, the game is scheduled to be released on November 10th for both PlayStation 4 and PC.

Players will take the part of Ding Dong Dell’s King Evan. His kingdom not only includes cats, but also mice and humans living together. However, his reign comes to an end after a coup and it is the player’s journey to place him back on his throne. Several adventurers will travel alongside Evan including sky pirates as well as others who want to restore peace.

The game is heavily influenced by the original created by Studio Ghibli. Level-5 is the developer of NNK2, though it is in “high- profile collaboration” with the original team including a former Ghibli artist.

During this week’s E3, Level-5 and Bandai Namco showed off a brand new trailer to provide a good look at the visuals.
