Ellada Games has announced that it is ready for players to set sail for Valhalla with the release of Niffelheim. The 2D action-survival side-scrolling RPG will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 20th.
The game contains all of the robust fully-realized features that players have come to expect. This includes crafting, dungeon delving, questing, exploration, and most basic of all, surviving. The ultimate goal is to take on all monsters above- and below-ground to gain access to Valhalla.
The console version follows the earlier release of the PC version on Steam and comes with all of its released content. But wait! There’s more! Developers have added new content and creatures that are not found in the PC version. This includes more bosses and special items as well as a number of balance updates and the brand new repair mechanic.

Niffelheim puts players in the battle-weary boots of a brave Viking Warrior, woefully felled in battle.
