Gungho Online Entertainment just released a brand new episode of the ongoing Ninjala animated series, following up the launch of Ninjala Season 2.
Hot on the heels of the new Ninjala Season, the tea behind this bright new arena battler has launched the third episode of an ongoig series of anime shorts, all based around the Ninjala game world. Initially launched back during June 2020, the Ninala animated series isn’t too dissimilar to the sort of crossover we’ve seen with titles like Granblue Fantasy and Soulworker, but with a little bit more bubble to it. Titled “A Beautiful Intruder”, this entry in the series follows Jane, a brilliant hacker working for the World Ninja Association. Players checking out the episode will find her hacking into a secret database in a research lab and the quest that follows to find out more about the mysterious Ninja-Gum at the heart of the Ninjala tournaments. For those that haven’t played the bubble gum brawler yet, Ninjala and its Ninja-Gum throw players into a brightly colored competition where warriors battle it out to find out who is the best ninja. Unlike other skills, however, these ninja powers don’t take years of practice. Instead, gamers just guzzle a bunch of super-powered Ninja-Gum and take to a range of levels and wield an array of awesome powers as they compete for glory and gum.
If you’d rather have something a bit more interactive than the new anime, then Ninjala just kicked off Season 2 on 27 August. Season2 includes a new weapon class, new abilities, and an all-new stage. As we suspected, it will also get some Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration content latter on this year too, so there’s plenty to play and watch for Ninjala fans.
