Nintendo has shared its big plans regarding a new Mario Kart smartphone game, a Super Mario animated movie and the upcoming paid Nintendo Switch Online Service.
The company has announced that Mario Kart is on its way to iOS & Android-based smartphones. The new mobile game known as the Mario Kart Tour will be released sometime before March 2019.

If it is not enough Mario goodness for you, the firm’s CEO Tatsumi Kimishima confirmed that Nintendo will be working in collaboration with Universal Pictures to create a Super Mario animated film, co-produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri of Despicable Me.

The last but not the least, Nintendo has announced that the paid Nintendo Switch Online service will debut in September 2018.
This paid service lets Nintendo Switch owners enjoy online multiplayer gaming as well as a dedicated smartphone app that connects to your Nintendo Switch system and helps you connect with friends for online play sessions in compatible games.
The app will be initially compatible with the Splatoon 2 game. It will allow you to access SplatNet 2, where you can find your online battle stats, gear and much more.
