Hello Labs is a new project introduced by No Man’s Sky developers during GDC this week. Hello Games Founder Sean Murray detailed the project during his GDC panel, “Building Worlds Using Math”.
What Is Hello Labs?
Hello Games will be working with small developers who are working on titles using procedural generation in addition to being “experimental focuses”. The company will lend its aid, both financial and development support, to one or two groups at any given time. Murray said that one such project has already started.
During the panel, Murray was asked what Hello Games has been working on. He said that devs are working on the next No Man’s Sky patch.
