Since we reported on the Wild Bangarang x Guild Wars 2 gear collaboration earlier in the month, my wallet has been ready. Now ArenaNet has given us a better glimpse of the upcoming cloth before it drops on 26 July.
For those of you unaware or just not into clothes, Guild Wars 2 and UK clothing manufacturer are grouping up for some very special updates, in the real world. Well known for their official Overwatch and WoW leggings, Wild Bangarang has turned it’s gaze to Tyria. The team behind the project has confirmed we’re getting a range of leggings and skater style dresses. Each piece is inspired by ArenaNet’s iconic MMO and features a range of armor and key art that fans of the franchise will recognize.
“Guild Wars is a franchise that we’ve long respected thanks to its hand-crafted art style, endearing storylines and entertaining gameplay. We can’t wait to add such a cherished fantasy property to our licensed clothing line-up,” said Adam Jay, CEO & founder of Wild Bangarang.”
We already know that the line up includes Flamekissed Armor, Grenth’s Regalia, key art, and Dynamics Exo leggings. Dresses featuring Eir artwork, The Mad King’s outfit and Kasmeer’s own armor are also in the line-up. These new additions to your wardrobe will unlock but at a cost. The range comes in at £35 / €38.90. The good news is you won’t need to plow through any Black Lion Chests to get them. While some of our more colleagues might think that armor print activewear is weird, I can tell you I’ll be ready for this loot to drop on 26 July. You can find out more and about this over at the Wild Bangarang website.
