KOEI TECMO America has announced that Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi, their Grand Strategy series, will release to PlayStation 4 and Steam on June 5th. Check out the trailer here:
In Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi, you will take on the role of an officer or lord during Japan’s Warring States Era. To successfully rule, you must gain influence with the clans, mustering both strategic prowess and the strength of will.
One new gameplay feature that Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi brings to the franchise is the Resolve System – a game system in which the player must take into account the aspirations of your leader and their allies. For example, the head of the Takeda clan, Shingen Takeda values the Law of Kai – which requires equality in all situations. By satisfying these resolutions, you will unlock bonus like attack power or extra resources.
Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi isn’t just about the combat. You can also spend time in Civic Development systems by managing the areas you control. By caring for your domain, you will reap the benefits of increased production, raise the effectiveness of your trade routes, and much more.
