NVIDIA GeForce RTX Turing Pre-Orders Begin! To Hit Shelves on September 20th

The day has finally cometh! We have been given the glorious details about the next generation of GPUs coming from NVIDIA, powered by their new Turing processors and capable of real-time ray-tracing.  You’ll find more about all that in another article – this article is all about the manufacturers that have now posted pre-orders and where you can go to get on that list for the best thing to happen to computer graphics since… the last best thing that happened.

Newegg already has a nice page up highlighting cards from ASUS, EVGA, GIGABYTE, MSI, PNY, and ZOTAC if you want to check that out for the 2080 Ti and 2080 varieties.

If you’re one of the people that like to pay a little more money and get things directly from NVIDIA, you can pre-order Founder’s edition on their website starting right now as well at a premium.

ASUS

Outside of the Newegg, I don’t have any additional links for ASUS products (yet).  The ASUS Graphics Card page hasn’t been updated with the new RTX line at the time of this article but that’s not to say we don’t at least know what cards we will be looking at.

EVGA

EVGA, the beloved brand for their usually excellent warranty and RMA process, is killing it with EIGHT different 2080 Ti / 2080 cards (So 16 total).  If you’re like me and try to get EVGA as much as possible you have plenty of chances here.

MSI

MSI for most is synonymous with some of the best cooling you can get on a card and for many some of the best looking cards you can get, as well.  Their RGB on cards is always well done and their cards are some of the best for overclocking.

Gigabyte

If you don’t know the Aorus line you must be living under a rock and I for one am excited to see what Gigabyte delivers with the new RTX lineup.  Their Windforce cooling system delivers excellent thermals and with all this real-time raytracing we are bound to be doing soon I have a feeling we will be needing it.

ZOTAC

Zotac, the guys who brought us that first ever, ridiculously small GTX 1080 Ti, are getting in on the RTX hype with a handful of cards as well, including their popular AMP! line.

PNY

PNY has been around as long as I can remember.  I don’t know a whole lot of people that are hardcore PNY fans but I’ve found their cards to be reliable and deliver consistent performance across the years.  They’re currently only offering one 2080 Ti and one 2080 for pre-order at the moment, however.

Well, there you have it… for now at least!  Of course, there are more partners with pre-orders out but these are the main US players.  If you have your favorite manufacturer feel free to let us know in the comments!  Keep calm and GeForce on!
