Ocean’s Heart Finds Adventure On The Nintendo Switch

Ocean’s heart, an action RPG that appeals to anybody used to sharpening Link’s sword, is coming to the Nintendo Switch In February.

Due to set sail on 10 February, Ocean’s Heart is an action RPG that we’re quite sure long term fans of Zelda are going to adore. Taking plenty of inspiration from the classic top down 16-bit quests, this deliberately retro title is about to take Nintendo Switch owners on an adventure to defeat the evil pirate Blackbeard and maybe find some treasure along the way.

If you have had a peek at the release trailer, you might think that this cuts close to the bone with its inspiration, but this is entirely intentional.

“Ocean’s Heart wears its influences on its sleeve, so of course I am ecstatic to see the game come to Nintendo Switch. Ocean’s Heart is a love letter to the Legend of Zelda but it also has its own uniqueness that sets it apart. It’s about exploring, and the sense of satisfaction of finding a mystery out there, and trying to figure out what it means,” said Max Mraz, the developer of Ocean’s Heart.

Players picking up the game will explore a beautiful archipelago and steer a young woman named Tilia on her way to taking down this infamous evil doer. Along the way, Tilla can explore a vibrant world full of friends and foes. While the local villages might provide rest, the darkest dungeons, mountain peaks, and saltwater marshes come with their own dangers. When players aren’t taking on contract jobs to hunt down monsters or clearing ancient subterranean mazes of mobs, they can forage, craft, or indulge in character-driven sidequests that expand upon the world’s lore.

There is, undoubtedly tons to do in Ocean’s heart and it already has a positive st of reviews from an earlier PC release. Ocean’s heart will land on the Nintendo eShop for $14.99/€14.99/£13.49 or local equivalent, adding yet another adventure to the on the go hybrid’s catalog. If you want to find out more about this new land before it goes live then head over to the eShop now.
