Face a new boss encounter and defeat the Royal Titans as Old School Runescape celebrates its 12th anniversary.
Jagex has a bit of a birthday present in ready for Old School Runescape players. Heroes and adventurers will face a colossal battle as two incredible enemies as the Royal Titans arrive in this long running MMORPG. Stuck between two colossal forces intent on victory, players must survive long enough to face off against the Fire Queen and Eldric, the King of Frost.
While an elemental war of fire and ice rages across the world, heroes can switch between gear to exploit elemental weaknesses and take on this mighty new update as a solo or duo. Taking down the titans will unlock a slew of new rewards, as you might expect. Defeat two of these bosses to loot the likes of the Twinflame Staff and the Giantsoul Amulet, an untradeable teleport that takes players directly to any of the 3 giant bosses: Obor, Bryophyta, and the Royal Titans. Players who take down the Royal Titans will also be rewarded with valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and a Fire & Ice giant pet. Tons of loot to aim for in this update.
You don’t need to slay the titans to score new rewards too. The Royal Titans also make way for a new Slayer Alternative Task. Get new slayer XP alongside bossing on any fire giant or ice giant task. Discover an epic boss challenge for mid-late game level players who want to learn to PvM and walk away with exclusive new rewards. ‘
The festivities don’t stop there. On 19 February, developer Jagex will hop on stream for a special livestream celebration. In game birthday decorations and new cosmetic rewards, a birthday cake competition and more await.
