OlliOlli World Ramps Up For A New Story Expansion As The VOID Riders Roll Out In June

OlliOlli World the stupidly entertaining skating sim that is as tricky as it is enjoyable will get a new expansion when the VOID Riders launches off into the infinite on 15 June.

Skillful skate gods and gnarly wash outs can take another trip into OlliOlli World on 15 June when the beaming bright skateboard sim gets its first expansion. The upcoming VOID Riders add on comes to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, and PC via Steam when it screeches into view next month.

As the first of two planned escapes back to this highly rated adventure, VOID Riders finds etra steezy extraterrestrials, Sair’Rah, Khehvyn, and Pftangxi, descend on Radlandia. With the goal of grabbing a bunch of skater specimens for the great and mighty Nebulord, there’s only you to stop them. After kicking off the edge of this new expansion, you’ll enter the new alien zone, called the V.O.I.D. Along the way you’ll encounter strange new challenges, and seek out new off-ramps and grind rails.

There’s more than just new backdrops and an eerie alien aesthetic, however. Along the way skaters will find a new tractor beam mechanic at work too. Stick the landing and impress Nebulord with your out-of-this-world style and you may just find yourself becoming his favorite skate alien! To tease you into this new experience, the team behind these nefarious aliens ejected a trailer out into the cold vacuum of the internet. You can check it out above and prepare for a whole new world of tricks by grabbing OlliOlli World Rad Edition, a deluxe version of the game, for $44.99. The Rad Edition includes the base game, OlliOlli World: VOID Riders and the upcoming second expansion (scheduled for late 2022), as well as the “Close Encounter Skate Deck” digital cosmetic item too.
