Bandai Namco has announced One Piece Odyssey, a brand new RPG that will offer players an all-new original adventure for Luffy and the Straw Hats. The game will arrive during a huge milestone for the manga franchise that is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The video game will be “under the guiding hand of series creator Eiichiro Oda” and will deliver an authentic and immersive new story based on canon. Of course, the dev team is promising plenty of humor and chemistry alongside the original Japanese voice actors. Look for the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2022.
ONE PIECE ODYSSEY transports the Straw Hats to a mysterious new island where they embark on quests and fight powerful enemies and massive bosses in exciting turn-based battles. In the game, players take on the role of nine of their favorite pirates, playing as Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Franky, Sanji, Usopp, Nico Robin, TonyTony Chopper, and Brook. A new character revealed during the livestream, the cheerful and towering Adio, joins the Straw Hats in their latest adventure.
