The Transformers movies aside, there’s nothing as thrilling as than watching articulated chrome monstrosities pummelling on each other. Soon you and your friends will be able to take names and kick some shiny metal ass in Override : Mech City Brawl.
Coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 4 December, this party based brawler drops players into their very own supercharged mech. 12 incredible looking mechanoids are available to choose from and are customizable via the game’s own garage system. Assuming you can choose from the variety of unique skills and fighting styles available, a whole host of game modes await heroes ready to supersize and duke it out.
1V1 and 2v2 brawls, both online and split-screen, as well as a 4 person free for all, allows players to compete in arenas modeled after real-world locations like San Francisco, Egypt, Mexico and Japan. Anybody looking for a little different can team up for 2-4 player co-op, where every controller takes an armored appendage. Finally, for a bit of Saturday morning nostalgia, single-player story mode lets you live out your Super Sentai dreams, taking down massive monsters that threaten the world.
Overridelooks like a whole heap of fun, and I can’t wait to morph into the game. If you want to check it out, closed beta sign up is open over at www.overridegame.com and a brand new trailer can be found below.
