Mario Strikers: Battle League is a game from Nintendo which lets you play soccer five-on-five. There is a catch though. It is called Battle League for a reason. You will have to dodge bombs and turtle shells as the game progresses. Scoring goals is the objective.
Tackling the opponent to get the ball is one new way to play through each game. Item usage will help you score points and there are ways to boost your shots for stronger goal chances. Mario, Toad, Yoshi and others are in this title like any other Mario game.
Customization of characters with new gear that can boost your stats and appearance is now an option. This and more are able to be used even with online play. There can be a total of eight players playing Mario Strikers on one Nintendo Switch gaming console. Two players can also compete together online from the same system giving you multiple options to play with friends or otherwise.
Mario Strikers: Battle League will be coming out on the Switch on June 10th. Prepare your joy-cons and get ready to rumble on the soccer field. Get ready to take out Koopa and all of his minions in battle.
