Developer Blizzard Entertainment rolled out a new trailer for Overwatch 2: Invasion, an all-new adventure kicking off on August 10. As Null Sector descends upon cities across the globe, the Overwatch Task Force prepares to fight the oncoming threat. Will our Heroes’ efforts be enough to save Future Earth or will they fold in the face of their powerful new enemies?
Players can see some familiar faces on the scene, such as Ramattra (the leader of the Null Sector), ex-Overwatch agent Sojourn, Lucio, Genji, Traer and others. Coming right after the Overwatch: Genesis trilogy, Invasion is a sobering tale that shows vastly different side of the omnics. Hopefully, other playable omnics such as Zenyatta and Echo will make their appearances as well.
Overwatch 2 players can also check out the latest animated short “Calling”, featuring Sojourn right before the Invasion begins. It serves as a perfect introduction of the event and, perhaps, leads us right to the events of Zero Hour, the animated trailer that initially revealed OW2. You can check both of them out below!
